Meet the Love Potato. This is the official end-of-book craft from Valentine's Day Heartache Hero.

Materials

• □Brown paper bag
• □Thermochromic paint (changes color with heat)
• □Cotton balls
• □Googly eyes
• □Pipe cleaners
• □Glue
• □Scissors
• □Washable marker

Instructions

1. Stuff the brown paper bag with cotton balls to create a potato shape. Tie off the open end with a rubber band.

2. Paint the "potato" with thermochromic paint. This will allow your Love Potato to change colors when touched!

3. Once dry, glue on googly eyes. The bigger and wackier, the better!

4. Cut pipe cleaners into small pieces and glue them on as wild, crazy "hair."

5. Use the washable marker to draw a goofy smile and rosy cheeks.

6. Cut heart shapes from the remaining paper bag and write silly love messages on them. Attach these to pipe cleaners and stick them into your potato.

Final instructions

Finally, write "Lulu Lilly's Magical Mood-Changing Love Potato" or "HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!" on the largest heart.

When you touch the potato, your body heat will change the paint's color, creating a "magical" effect.
